EXCEL LEARNING ACADEMY PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION POLICY

We only collect information directly from you. Any information you provide Excel Learning via email, social media, contact and information forms may be used to provide tutoring and academic services to your student.

We may collect your name, phone number, email address, and property address. As part of the Student Information Form for Excel Learning Academy we may also collect information regarding your student’s name, age, school, grade, gender, health history, educational history, presence of any learning differences, and emergency contact information. We may also collect information regarding your student’s teacher and whether we may contact them.

Any information gathered regarding any student who is a minor must only be provided by the student’s parent or legal guardian, except in the case of parent’s consent to contact classroom teacher, counselor, or principal.

If you pay for tutoring services with credit card, Excel Learning Academy Director, Rynthia Clements, may collect credit card information.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Excel Learning utilizes social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Parent postings on the Excel Learning site will be considered public information and will not be treated with confidentiality.

USE OF INFORMATION

Excel Learning Academy will use your information to contact you about tutoring services, special classes, or offerings of interest to you.

We may also use your information to provide appropriate feedback regarding your student’s progress or need for additional information.

Excel Learning Academy may text or email you to inform you about upcoming tutoring sessions, classes, or to inquire if student will be attending tutoring. We may also text or email regarding tutor availability or other information regarding services.

 

MINORS

Excel Learning Academy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under thirteen years of age, please do not provide your contact information or any other personally identifiable information to Excel Learning Academy. If you are the parent or legal guardian of someone under the age of 13 who may have provided Excel Learning with personal information, without your understanding, your knowledge, or your consent, please contact us to have information removed. All parents are invited in to attend tutoring sessions. Glassed fronts of Excel Learning Academy tutoring rooms are provided so parents have complete access and visible access to their student should they opt not to attend tutoring inside the classroom.
