Tyler and Dee believe parents are a child’s first teacher and their influence should remain the main influence in a child’s life. Dee is a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist and Tyler is the pastor of Crossroads Arlington Church. The goal of the class is to empower parents to make Biblical decisions concerning their child’s education – in every aspect of life. Dee and Tyler have developed this curriculum with much thought and prayer. They believe in educating parents about how their own Biblical world view can and should be lived out as parental authorities in questions such as sex education and healthy boundaries in their children’s lives as we live in a world where that perspective is not often valued. Rather than allowing culture to guide our principles, their perspective and the perspective that will be taught in the class is to look to the example of Jesus, and the Bible in decision making for our most precious commodity: our children.
